What are Signals?
“Signals” are trade recommendations.
Here’s how it works:
We examine the markets and run the numbers through our EXCLUSIVE proprietary formula to determine the day’s most profitable trades.
- We draft this into a clear, easy-to-understand email and send it to you.
- You pass on this information to a broker to execute the trade or you do it yourself via an online service.
- You sit back and relax, go hiking, play golf. Whatever you want to do while we do all the work. We recommend the exact trades to make, how much to bid, and when to get out of a trade. We also summarize each day’s Signals so you know why we’re recommending each trade. You’re pretty much trading alongside with us.
How Much Money do I Need to Trade the TF101 System?
$15,000.
I have designed this program to useful for people with $15,000 More money is better. If you have more than $15,000 – Great! The program will work even better for you. The system is very flexible about the money it can handle. This is one of the strengths of this system.
I have a video on how much to risk for any account size in our Subscription Trade Signal Member Area. Even better, I have a custom spreadsheet that tells you how much to risk!

What does the TF101 System Trade?
The Premium Trend Following 101 program trades Futures contracts. Specifically, it trades:
- Corn
- Soybeans
- Wheat
- Gold
- Crude Oil
- Euro Currency
- Australian Dollar
- Japanese Yen
- Silver
How Much Time Does the TF101 System Take?
Not much. It shouldn’t take much more than 15 minutes a day. After a few days, it should take just a few minutes a day. I created a checklist, so you know what to do with the signals. It doesn’t take long to follow the checklist. I still use the checklist myself, just to make sure I get it all correct. You can download this checklist in our Member’s Area
When do I get the Signals?
You’ll get the signals every weeknight about 9pm Chicago time. The Friday signals should be entered for next weeks market opening.
What do the Signals look like?
After I run the day’s data through my system, I get something that looks like this:
Then I convert this crazy-looking chart into an email for you that looks like this:
You will get the same positions, and the same orders, with the same prices, just in a much clearer, easy to follow format. You’ll need to determine your own number of contracts. It’s easy to do, and we give complete step by step instructions. We will soon offer our Trade Signals via SMS but we do not have it available at this time.
How do I set up a Futures Account?
In our Exclusive Trend Following 101 Member’s Area you’ll get a complete set of videos on how to get started. One of the videos is about setting up a futures account.
We also partner with several very good, reasonable, Futures brokers and would be very glad to recommend them to you. You would simply forward your daily emails to your broker when you get them and they would make the trades. We can also direct you to several brokers who will autotrade for you. That means that they already have the data for our program to implement each day’s trades and you don’t have to do a darned thing.
Will this System Automatically Make Money for Me?
No – All trading involves risk. You cannot avoid this risk. There is always a risk of large loss in futures trading.
You might lose all of the money you put into your account. You might lose more than the money in your account.?I highly recommend trading very small numbers of contracts, because of the risk.

How does trend trading work with ETFs?
When you start with the current price of a stock, you can watch that price go up or down in a definite direction. Our system determines the likelihood of the price trend to continue in that direction. Trend trading is the buying or selling of that stock, depending on the trend that we’re watching and based on the current price.
We watch a lot of financial charts. When a stock’s price movement forms a downward, upward or sideways line then it is forming a trend. This is what it means when we say a stock is “trending.”
We find these trends and decide whether to buy, sell or hold the stock. If the stock stays in the direction of the trend you’re trading, you make money.
If the stock trend stays sideways, you don’t make money in the short term, but you can hold onto it until the system determines a better time to sell. Then you make money.
Trend trading systems work great with ETFs because most stocks are eventually overvalued or undervalued over time. That makes the volatility of the trend. Then you make money.

You need this system if you want to protect your Retirement Account
Many people actively participate in their company’s 401k and don’t give a thought to how much that might be costing them. And what many people don’t know is that mutual funds are very expensive for what you get . Especially if you work for a small business (less than 200 people) and have to put your retirement account through your company’s 401k, the fees are extremely high.
Here’s the formula– you pay approximately 4% in fees, minus 3.2% for inflation, so you end up making about 1% a year in the stock market. That’s really low returns – and it doesn’t even take into consideration the massive risk of putting your money into the stock market.
But when your investing follows a trend trading system, you have the exact same risk, but the difference is that you can get compensated for taking risk.
So remember that 1% profit you made on the stock market? Let’s compare that to our system’s returns for 2011… it was a great year with a return of 27%! Now not every year is that great, for example our system was down 5.8% in 2009. Everyone was losing money in 2009. But we rode out the trend and our returns went back up spectacularly in 2010.
